Medical standards

The rules, done right.

If you run a medical office, your cleaning has to meet the rules. Here is how we work.

Bloodborne pathogen and safety training

Every crew member is trained in OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and in safe chemical handling. This is a trained, professional crew.

In practice: Gloves on, sharps and red bags never touched

Hospital-grade disinfectants, used right

EPA-registered products, left wet for the full contact time printed on the label. Wiping too soon doesn't kill germs.

In practice: Full label contact time on every surface

Color-coded microfiber

Red, yellow, blue and green cloths, each kept to its own zone, so nothing carries from a restroom to an exam room.

In practice: Red for toilets, yellow for sinks, blue for rooms, green for kitchens

Clean to dirty, top to bottom

Cleanest areas first, restrooms last, and tools disinfected between rooms.

In practice: Restrooms last, tools wiped between rooms

Medical waste stays separate

We remove regular trash and recycling only. Sharps containers and red-bag waste stay with your licensed medical waste hauler.

In practice: Your licensed hauler handles medical waste

Patient privacy

Crews never read, move or photograph patient records, and they leave files, screens and desks as they found them.

In practice: Files, screens and desks left as found

Secure after-hours access

The same small crew whenever we can, keys and alarm codes handled only by named staff, and doors locked and the alarm set when we leave.

In practice: Key and alarm procedure agreed at walkthrough

Licensed, insured and bonded

We carry general liability insurance and a janitorial bond, so your property is protected while we work.

In practice: Certificate of insurance on request

Before you hire anyone

Five questions to ask any cleaning company.

Ask us too. If a company can't answer these quickly, keep looking.

  1. Are your crews trained in bloodborne pathogens?
  2. Which disinfectants do you use, and how long do they stay wet?
  3. Do you use color-coded cloths so restroom germs stay in the restroom?
  4. Can you send a certificate of insurance before you start?
  5. How do you check the work, and who do I call if something is missed?

Questions before you start?

Ask for our certificate of insurance with your quote, or call and we'll walk you through how we work.
